Mango Season Update
INDIAN MANGO SEASON
March 17, 2026
- Season Starts: Exports are expected to start the week of March 23rd- US inspectors are expected next week in India. We are now working to bring our first season shipment the week of March 30th, a week earlier than planned- an additional shipment of Ratnagiri Alphonso mango has been added (batch of 3/30/2026). Season pass shipments will automatically be advanced by a week and adjusted.
- Alphonso Season Update: The fruit in the Konkan belt has been hit hard due to the flip-flop of cold and hot temperatures in the past few weeks. Production for the season is expected to drop by 60-80%. Our supply seems to be secure, but we will be hard pressed for premium fruit. We encourage you to place your orders as early as possible, especially the season pass holders.
- Andhra Mangoes Update: Temperature variation has affected the fruit in Telangana. The fruit in the Kadapa region is safe- this fruit is expected to be ready after April 20th. We are monitoring both regions for our shipments.
- Updates on mangoes from Gujarat, North India and Pakistan will be shared once they are available.
We are getting ready for a challenging mango season due to the weather fluctuations and logistics issues resulting from the ongoing hostilities in the mideast

Alphonso Mango: Flowering in Ratnagiri is normal and on schedule.
Mancurad and Payri Mango (from Goa): 2-3 shipments expected this year.
Andhra mangoes:
– Banganpalli expected to be ready mid May.
– Additional orchards added for Banganpalli, Rasalu and Himayat this season. We will be trying to access multiple regions so that we can choose the best crop each week. Also, with multiple regions, we have better luck when trying to select Rasalu and Himayat- in case one region is not good, we can still get something from the other region. With multiple teams in multiple regions, we hope to not only get the best Banganpalli, but also get it for a longer time.
– Mallika, Totapuri, Malgova season is on schedule.
Kesar mango: Additional processing centers expected to be ready in Ahmedabad and Gir. This will improve the logistics for Kesar.
Langra, Dussehri: Dussehri is expected to be ready by second week of June in Malihabad and the Banarasi Langra is expected to be ready by the third week. The season for each variety is about 2 weeks and we expect to get 2 shipments of each.
